Professional/Civic Activities: Since 2011, Ms. Kutaka has been an annual guest speaker for the Hawaii Judicial Education and Resource Development Program.
Ms. Kutaka was born and raised in Honolulu and is a proud graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law. She has more than 15 years of experience working in Hawaii’s judicial system and practicing civil litigation throughout the State of Hawaii. Ms. Kutaka has represented clients with regards to motor vehicle accidents, dram shop cases, slip and falls, premises liability, dog bites, wrongful death lawsuits, construction accidents, real property disputes, real property transactions, defamation, food poisoning, sexual harassment, and employment discrimination. She has experience with mediation, arbitration, court-mandated settlement conferences, and trial.

Since 2011, Ms. Kutaka has been an annual guest speaker for the Hawaii Judicial Education and Resource Development Program. She is a 2013 graduate of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Leadership Institute, a Barrister with the James S. Burns Aloha Chapter, American Inns of Court IV, and a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Litigation Section. Prior to joining Rush Moore LLP, Ms. Kutaka worked as an Attorney at a civil litigation law firm in Honolulu. She also served a five-year Clerkship with the Honorable Gary W. B. Chang in the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii, a Judicial Externship with the late Honorable John S. Lim of the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals, and as a Legal Extern for the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii. Ms. Kutaka was also the recipient of the Witkin Award for Legal Writing.
