Arbitrator in the State of Hawai`i Court Annexed Arbitration Program

Member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys: Members of this Association are selected trial lawyers who are experienced in the trial of cases, particularly on behalf of defendants in civil litigation cases. All members regularly represent insurance companies and self-insurers and are experts in the fields of law pertaining to dispute resolution for the insurance industry.

Member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC): Members of the FDCC are practicing lawyers who devote a substantial amount of their professional time to the representation of insurance companies, associations or other corporations in the defense of civil litigation.

Ms. Yusi has over 30 years of experience in defending tort litigation of all types and defending workers' compensation cases on behalf of the employer and insurance carrier. Her experience includes jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, hearings at the Disability Compensation Division, trials at the Labor and Industrial Relations Appeals Board, and arguments before the Hawai`i Supreme Court and the Intermediate Court of Appeals for the State of Hawai`i.

Ms. Yusi graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1977, she graduated from Northwestern University School of Law with the degree of Juris Doctor. Ms. Yusi then practiced for approximately three years with a litigation firm in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Hawai' i in 1980 after marriage. She joined Rush Moore LLP A Limited Liability Law Partnership in 1980 and became its first female partner in 1984.
