Ms.
Strandtman has over 10 years of experience in bankruptcy litigation
and the defense of contract and tort litigation of various types,
including commercial, personal injury cases and automobile no-fault
denial appeals. Her experience includes arbitration hearings,
hearings before the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs
("DCCA"), and trials in District Court, Circuit Court
and Bankruptcy Court. In 1998, Ms. Strandtman second-chaired an
eight-week jury trial in First Circuit Court, which resulted in
the successful defense of a multi-million dollar lawsuit alleging
fraud, misrepresentation, and breach of contract.
Ms.
Strandtman graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Communications/Journalism from the California State University
at Fullerton, where she also competed as a member of the University's
Division I National Gymnastics Championship team. She attended
the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai`i graduating in 1991. She joined
Rush Moore LLP A Limited Liability Law Partnership, as an associate attorney in 1991 and became a partner in
1999. She became of counsel to the firm in 2001.
