Mr. Sato has over 25 years of experience in real property, finance and business matters. He has handled a wide range of matters involving commercial and residential real property and financing, including property development, condominiums, leasing, real and personal property financing and consumer transactions.

Mr. Sato was born and raised in Hawai`i. He graduated from Antioch College in 1970 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. After working as a paralegal for legal services programs in Detroit, Michigan and Salem, Oregon, he attended King Hall School of Law at the University of California at Davis, where he wrote and was on the editorial board for the law review. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1976. He then served as a law clerk to the late Honorable Dick Yin Wong, United States District Judge for the District of Hawai`i. He has been a partner of the firm since 1982 and has served on the firm's management committee as a member and as the firm's Managing Partner from 1992-94 and 1997-98.
