	Professional/Civic Activities: Mr. Ross is a member of the West Hawai`i Bar Association, the Hawai`i State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, (Member, Section on Litigation), the American Trial Lawyers Association and an Arbitrator in the State of Hawai`i Court Annexed Arbitration Program.

Mr. Ross is active in numerous civic activities. He is President of the Aloha Performing Arts Company. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for the West Hawai`i Fund.

Mr. Ross has extensive general and tort litigation experience over a 25-year period including construction litigation, liquor liability, products liability, premises liability and professional malpractice. In addition, he has handled over 600 personal injury and automobile cases. Mr. Ross's experience includes bench and jury trials, private and court-mandated arbitration and mediation. He has appeared frequently in all courts on the Big Island as well as before the Hawai`i Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Ross attended the University of Iowa from which he graduated in 1969 with a BA in English awarded "with highest distinction". He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Harvard Law School from which he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree "cum laude" in 1972.

After law school Mr. Ross served as an attorney with the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. specializing in complex merger and anti-trust litigation. He was recipient of F.T.C.'s award for Meritorious Service. From 1974-76 he served as Regional Director (Truk) of the Micronesian Claims Commission. Mr. Ross was a partner in the Kona Office of Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel for 19 years, the last five of which he served as the managing partner of the office. From April, 1998 until joining Rush Moore LLP A Limited Liability Law Partnership, he was a solo practitioner in Kona.
