Her primary area of practice is currently focused on collection matters, including but not limited to, foreclosure actions and lease rent collections.

Ms. Otani was born and raised in Hawai`i. She graduated with distinction from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. Ms. Otani attended the University of California at Davis School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 1992. Ms. Otani served as a staff editor of the University of California at Davis Law Review and was involved in various law school committees and organizations.
