Ms. Otani has over 17 years of experience in real estate, real property conveyancing, condominium, business, probate/guardianship, banking and collection law. Her primary area of practice is currently focused on collection matters, including but not limited to, foreclosure actions and lease rent collections.

Ms. Otani was born and raised in Hawai`i. She graduated with distinction from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. Ms. Otani attended the University of California at Davis School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 1992. Ms. Otani served as a staff editor of the University of California at Davis Law Review and was involved in various law school committees and organizations.
