Cheryl A. Nakamura is a partner with Rush Moore LLP A Limited Liability Law Partnership, having been with the firm since 1981. Ms. Nakamura specializes in commercial litigation and real estate litigation matters, including collections, foreclosures, evictions, debtor-creditor rights, lender liability, land title disputes, and lessor-lessee disputes. She has experience in handling motions and other types of hearings in State and Federal court, bench trials, arbitrations, arguments and briefing before the Hawai`i Supreme Court, and briefings for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is licensed to practice before all courts in Hawai`i (1981) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (1988).

Ms. Nakamura is a 1981 graduate of Harvard Law School, where she served on the staff of the Harvard Environmental Law Review (1979-1980) and the Harvard Journal on Legislation (1980-1981). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Hawai`i.
