Mr. Lyons was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Hawaii in 1999 and also studied at Thames Valley University in London, England. Mr. Lyons also worked in foreign trade as a Marine Customs Broker with Lyons Marine Brokerage. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Lyons was an English teacher at Pearl City High School and Nishi Fukuoka High School, in Fukuoka, Japan. In 2006, he received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he served on the Oregon Law Review. Then in 2004, Mr. Lyons was a summer associate at Ning, Lilly & Jones and a law clerk to the Honorable Karen M. Radius at the Family Court of the First Circuit. He was a summer associate for Rush Moore from May 2005 to July 2005. Mr. Lyons joined Rush Moore LLP in September 2006 as a Law Clerk and became an associate attorney thereafter in November 2006.
